Dyeing eggs is a centuries’ old tradition that each Easter brings yesterday and today, the modern and the traditional closer together. The current trend is to use raw materials that are in harmony with nature. For this reason, A. Yiotis SA has created a new series of Easter egg dyes with colours from nature. The pigments used in the production of this new series are found in both plants and plant extracts.
The series contains:
• Red dye
• A set with green, yellow and blue dyes.
COLOUR PROVENANCE:
• The red colour is based on carmine (extract of Dactylopius coccus Costa), extract of cardamom, maltodextrin (potato base) and silicon dioxide.
• The blue colour comes from extract of anthocyanin from sweet potato, black carrot, red cabbage and maltodextrin (potato base).
• The green colour comes from chlorophyll, known to all.
• The yellow colour is produced from extract of cardamom, maltodextrin (potato base) and silicon dioxide.
